What I was trying to fix

I've been in the middle of a career transition for a long time. It's been long enough that I'm not even sure if that's disingenuous to say. But, in the name of the long tail of trying, I finally decided that what I needed was an outlet of my own. Since the release of ChatGPT-3.5, I have been experimenting relentlessly with generative AI from the user side. I have a Masters of Science of Computer Science that gives me the theoretical background to be able to do more than just explore from the user side, and I wanted a place to share my thoughts and my skills while I'm still finding...whatever it is I'm missing...to join the workforce properly.

So, I did the thing that everyone has been recommending since the 90s and built a website.

However, I have the frontend skills of a sad fish, I'm terrified of JavaScript by way of being thrown into React with absolutely zero web design experience and listening to an excessive amount of hack0r music, so...vibecoded static html blog it is.

DISCLAIMER: My general philosophy when using generative AI is that it is best used to learn new skills, rather than pure copy and paste slop. But sometimes, it's genuinely just about doing something. And that's okay. This time, I needed a container for my organic human thoughts more than I needed to immediately develop my frontend skills.

Just be honest about what you're trying to do.
